TVS Motor Company is preparing to showcase its new M1-S electric maxi-scooter at EICMA 2025, as the brand recently teased on social media. The Indian two-wheeler manufacturer will present six new products at the event, with the M1-S among the most anticipated.

The M1-S has been developed in collaboration with Singapore-based electric mobility startup ION Mobility, in which TVS holds a strategic stake.
Previously known as the ION M1-S, the scooter combines TVS’s technical expertise in product development, operations, and intellectual property with ION’s innovative electric mobility solutions.

The M1-S packs a 4.3 kWh battery that delivers 16.76 hp and 45 Nm of peak torque. TVS claims the scooter can accelerate from 0 to 50 km/h in 3.7 seconds, reach a top speed of 105 km/h, and cover up to 150 km on a single charge.
The scooter’s design emphasizes aerodynamics and sportiness. It features a sharp front fascia with twin LED headlamps, eyebrow-style DRLs, integrated turn indicators, a flat floorboard, and a single-piece seat with a slim rear grab rail.

On the tech front, the M1-S includes a seven-inch TFT display supporting smartphone connectivity, navigation, music control, and call/SMS alerts. A smart key system is also expected, aligning with current trends in the premium electric scooter segment.
Although TVS has not confirmed the Indian launch timeline, it is expected that the M1-S will make its way to India following its European debut.
